  • Use filters to narrow your results

  • ALWAYS choose Full Text (under the search box). The button background changes to light blue when Full Text is selected.
The Full Text button is under the search box when you're searching for articles. When it's been selected, it's got a light blue background.

  • Set the number of results on a page before you have to select Show More to see additional results. You can choose 10, 20, 30, or 50.
You can change the number of results listed on a page so that you don't have to click Show more results repeatedly.

  • Change the sort order. (Relevance, the default, means the search terms the most in the items at the top of the list anywhere in the article's text or description.)
You can click the drop down list that defaults to Relevance to sort articles by Date newest or Date oldest.

  • Review the article titles. If the full summary (abstract) is not shown, select Show more.
When viewing articles, if the full summary (or abstract) does not display in list of articles, click the Show more link to display the rest of the summary.
