To limit results after searching an EBSCO database (with Explora logo on the top left of the page):EBSCO database interface, with arrow pointing to All filters button

  1. Under the search box at the top of the page, select the All filters button.  
  2. To limit:
  • to full text articles, select the Full Text check box.
  • by date, select Publication Date and select an option.
  • by type of source, select Source Types and select one or more source types (for example, magazines and newspaper articles).
  • by subject (what the article is about), The list includes up to 7 subjects that represent what the listed articles are about. If there is a link to view more subjects (+3 more), click the link to view all the subjects and choose all the ones that represent what you need.
  • by geographic location, select Geography and choose a city, country, or continent from the list, like New York (State), United States, Asia.
