If you're doing research using one of the Tri-C Library Research Guides or the Tri-C Library website, when you click on a link to a resource like a database, a journal, or an electronic book, if you are not on campus, you will have to sign in. Another term for the library sign-on process is authenticate so when you click a link and see a page with Authentication in the title, it just means you need to sign in to get to the resource. Some resources are available to Tri-C students through Tri-C; other resources, through OhioLINK. Follow these steps to sign in.
Tri-C Sign On / Authentication
- On the Library Remote Authentication Logon page, type your S-number in the Username field and your Tri-C password in the Your Password field.
- Click Submit.
OhioLINK Sign On / Authentication
- On the Institution Selection Form, choose Cuyahoga Community College from the list.
- Choose your campus.
- On the OhioLINK Authentication Form, type your name in the format indicated on the page (last name first name, e.g., Smith Jane), then type your S-number.
